Profire have a long held belief that the customer should never be tied to a single source service provider. To this end we have adopted an ‘Open Protocol’ philosophy for our product range in fire detection.
Profire design, supply, install and commission analogue addressable and non-addressable fire alarm systems, including the latest wireless systems from hyfire and apollo.
These systems may be cabled or wire free depending on the particular circumstances of any given building. We also specialise in listed buildings and premises that may have special considerations.
To run the field devices a control panel is required. Profire have extensive expertise in Advanced Electronics, Kentec, Ctec, Ziton and many more to enable the most up to date control panels to be utilised as part of your systems.
Regular servicing is essential for Fire Safety products such as Fire Extinguishers. British Standard Code of Practice (BS5306 Part3) recommends that Fire Extinguishers are serviced at least annually to ensure that they will operate properly should an emergency occur. Fire Extinguishers will provide many years of reliable fire protection if they are properly maintained and regularly serviced by our competent engineers. Profire engineers will provide fire extinguisher servicing on a regular basis to ensure your equipment is ready for the moment that you really need it.
Extinguishers in commercial or public buildings should be visually inspected monthly for damage and must be serviced to BS 5306 - Part 3 once a year. Water, foam, wet chemical and powder extinguishers require test discharged every five years. Co2 extinguishers must be refurbished after ten years.
At Profire our engineers are trained to service all types of fire extinguishers. If you have a mixed range of extinguishers, no matter the manufacturer, Profire is the company for you!
